I have spent way too much time on this. Since most of you reading this came from my deviantArt page, I shouldn't have to explain that this is the first sketch in my request project. Needless to say, it's been a rough start.

This request comes courtesy of FuryofFrog. He asked for a picture of Zafina from Tekken, in her "P2" costume. So, initially I procrastinated for a day or two thinking that I had the whole week. Then, once I got started, I wondered what sort of pose to put her in. I ended up watching some match videos online and I happened to see her do a move which I thought would be quite a challenge. What happened? It turn out to be quite a challenge.

I found myself redrawing the move four times before settling on a variation that I liked. Once I started coloring it, though, I realized that I didn't like it so much, anymore. So, earlier today, I threw my hands in the air and decided to do something more conventional. As for it, the likeness isn't that strong but that may just be my style. The costume was an interesting project since I didn't care for the basic design. I decided to change the "dress thing" so that the bottom is more flowy and skirt-like because I felt it was more flattering. The arms, aren't exactly long enough to fit her proportions but the rest of the posing is strong enough to not let anyone notice.
